Jerk Pork Shoulder

How to make roasted jerk pork.

  • Oven Pan
  • 1 Whole Pork Shoulder
  • 2 lime
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 5 sprig thyme
  • 5 sprig parsley
  • 2 garlic (fresh)
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 large hot pepper
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 large red bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp Jerk Seasoning Marinade ((Grace is the brand used in this video))
  • 1 tbsp Jerk Seasoning Power ((McCormick is the one used in this video))
  1. STEP #1: You clean the whole pork shoulder with lime and vinegar. Once you're done cleaning it, rinse out thoroughly then poke holes all over the pork shoulder. Pat dry with a heavy duty paper towel and place in a pan.

  2. STEP #2: Put the Maggie Cubes, parsley, garlic, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, hot peppers, and thyme in the blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.

  3. STEP #3: Pour marinade over pork shoulders and rub for a couple of minutes making sure to rub the marinade in all the wholes you've poked in it.

  4. STEP #4: Add the marinade jerk seasoning and the powder and keep rubbing for another couple of minutes making sure you cover every inch of the pork shoulder.

  5. STEP #5: Cover, and refrigerate for 2 to 8 hours.

  6. STEP #6: Take out of the refrigerator, (do not uncover) and place in oven at 375% for 2 hours.

  7. STEP #7: Take out of the oven (uncover) and baste the pork shoulder with the marinade and return to oven (cover) for 1 hour.

  8. STEP #8: Take out of the oven (uncover) and baste the pork shoulder with the marinade and return to oven (uncover) for 30 minutes.
