Tantan Mother “Mrs. Serette Toussaint” Murdered in Haiti.

The management team on behalf of TANTAN/Lakol would like to thank all of the fans that have either sent flowers, wrote or called our hotline to express their condolences. Yes, it has been a real tragedy for all of us that have either known or work with Mrs. Serette Toussaint. To all who knew her, Mrs. Toussaint was a sweet and loving woman. To her five children especially Stanley Toussaint aka TANTAN she was the ultimate mom.

On Monday November 22, 2004, her life came to a tragic end when several members of Operation Bagdad swarmed the family owned store Located @ Rue Geffrard adjacent to Cine Capitol demanded and received money and proceeded to shoot her. Mrs. Toussaint was rushed the hospital where she was declared dead shortly before 11:45 Am. Mrs. Toussaint is survived by her husband Mr. Destin Toussaint, her sons and daughters Stanley and Nadia Toussaint Vladimyr & Myrtel Toussaint, daughters Josette & Stanley Rigaud, Valerie Toussaint, her Grand children Chad, Johnattan, Olivier Rigaud, Patrick Junior, Laurie, Jovan, Gucciani and Gordon Toussaint. Our condolences also go out to the entire Quince family, Fedna, Ritchie, Bibi, St. Louis, Morose, Richmond, Abraham, Modestil, Rigaud, and Toussaint.

TANTAN would once again like to thank each and everyone for their supports and wants to inform the public in general that he and his family would not rest until the murderer (s) are caught and dully prosecuted. Tantan has planned to put forth a reward for anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of these barbaric individuals. Tantan would also like to ask all that the passing of his mother not be used in any propagandistic way. He also apologizes to all media outlet that have been trying to call him and asks that all inquiries concerning this matter be directed to his PR and Management team @ 516-233-5677 or 781632-5695 or 954-205-1135. Because of this tragedy, all scheduled performance for the week of November 22, 2004 to Dec. 8, 2004 will be postponed. Check your local listing for make up date.

A full investigation is already under way and we will periodically keep the public inform of any future development.

PS all of Tantan’s scheduled performance will be suspended until December 8, 2004.
