Shedly expressed a desire to shift his attention towards producing music for other artists and performing, stepping away from the production of any future Djazz la CDs. The Djazz la series has been celebrated for showcasing a range of talented artists such as Arly Lariviere, Roberto Martino, Alan Cave, and Pouchon Duverger, and for producing hits like “Deception” by Nickenson Prud’homme, “Kou Te Kem” by Money G, and “Fanm Douce Mwen” sung by Alan Cave.
Despite the success, Shedly noted a missed opportunity—the potential for a Djazz la concert that could have featured artists from the albums never came to fruition. While fans might hold out hope for a change of heart, perhaps even a Volume 7 or a concert, Shedly indicated that for now, these ideas are on the back burner as he focuses on new creative pursuits.
