“The Evolution of Kreyol La”
Port-au-Prince, Haiti – Ready for an evolution? The wait is over ! Kreyol La anounces to the public, the music lovers and in particular its fans, the release of its new album titled EVOLUTION, scheduled for this Thanksgiving weekend 2010.
Kreyol La would like to specially thank its fans and the press for their patience and continuous support since the 2007 release of Viktwa.
Evolution, dedicated to Jean-Robert Hérissé known as Porky, deceased on December 2008, to Joubert Charles, our late manager and to all the victims of the earthquake of January 12, 2010, inlcudes 12 original tracks and benefits from the collaboration of Fabrice Rouzier, Roberto Martino of T-Vice, Ritchie of Zenglen, Mamane and Shabba of Djakout #1, Richard Cave of CaRiMi, Dave Benson of Fasil, Mika Benjamin and the young upcoming American artist Max Siegel.
We wanted to give this album a new dimension. We concentrated on our musical direction and the depth of our music. Five years later, this is how we understand our music, this is how we relate to our sound”, explains Ti Joe Zenny, inviting the media to a listening session on November 21st 2010. The album, sponsored by Voila, Bongu, Riz Méga, Adeko and Venus Productions, is a cornerstone in our group’s evolution. The public is cordially invited to enjoy the sophomore release at one of our release parties :
