We’ve all heard the buzz on the latest turmoil Zenglen is facing due to Nicky’s final decision to leave the band well it’s almost official and this time around it just might stick. This is not the first time Nicky has threatened to leave Zenglen when his demands weren’t met. I guess Zenglen didn’t believe him since his previous threats never materialize to anything more than just empty threats. From my sources, not only is he serious this time around, he has a press release prepared to go out any day now. The press release won’t be telling you any…

509 is not looking back far as Kenny is concerned. The band held an audition last night. They are looking to replace Kenny and their current member, Stanley who’s also decided to leave the band to pursue his solo career. The weather spared no mercy, and with the switches in the lineup from Zenglen & Djakout and finally going with Krezi Mizik & Djakout, the promoters still prevailed. The turnout was excellent with an estimated 1800 or more, the crowd well behaved and both bands delivered one of their best performances. First up was Krezi Mizik whom the fans seem to be getting used to with each performance. They did a good job. One thing I’ve complained about Krezi in the past is their lack of showmanship but the band seems to be more into delivering good music rather than…

If you follow certain message boards, I’m not going as far as saying it is a detriment to the industry, but a lot of negative comments that are said with no good merit can break a band; it is up to the media to alert the public when…

King Kino, celebrated his birthday with his close friends and fans at a private gathering that took place at “Mixed Notes Café” last in Elmont Long Island.
