Born in 1985 in Port-au-Prince, Alain Fleuriné is a singer and performer illustrated in the register of Gospel and evangelical music. In the tradition of evangelical singers, he began music and forged a spirit of creation and enterprise very early on. At the age of barely 7, he began to sing in the choirs of several churches and little by little, he got closer to the entities of the Compas groups.
He quickly became one of the most sought-after Gospel singers. Alain has carved out a reputation for himself with the gospel group “El Shama” and flies to the United States in January 2002 to work with a host of renowned artists such as: Tabou Combo whose voice he finds on the last opus in date of the group “atansyon wap cheche”, starring Shabba of Djakout # 1. He has also collaborated on several albums, notably those of Disip, Harmonik, to name but a few.
Alain Fleuriné grows up to the sound of Charles Aznavour and Stevie Wonder. In Miami, he discovers the musical writing of many artists and groups and becomes the flagship singer of the group Alabanza which has been a hit everywhere. The popularity of Alain Fleuriné is growing rapidly. For more than five years he dominated the world of evangelical song with Alabanza. The culmination of his career may be when he meets Ralph Menelas, for whom he has great admiration and joins the group Bel Jazz. This is where he discovered a passion for the Compass where he highlights his extraordinary vocal capacity, his voice covers almost five octaves [ref. necessary].
He made himself known as a versatile singer by providing the vocals for most of the songs. This new experience allows him to perform in France, the United States, and Haiti. The year 2012 marked a certain turning point in the career of Alain Fleuriné. His voice and the songs he sings on Bel Jazz’s “Sa ka rive” album invade the airwaves and television screens. If Alain is still as successful on the music of Bel Jazz, he does not skimp on his perfectionist, curious, talented side… On the heart side, his life is in the image of his style: in love, seductive and romantic in front of the eternal.
The success is immediate and the fans of the good Compas continue to grow with titles like “Solitude”, “Pi Bel Pi Red”, “In Love”, “Bagay Malheur” …. His performances in public seem to keep coming back in the Haitian musical landscape, because he has rhythm in his skin and talent too, because when he sings, Alain Fleuriné is definitely at ease. Her deep and clear voice, very right on the tempos, flows perfectly into the music. We feel a new force in Haitian popular music, a new breath, without question.
