Born Ronald Jean on October 19, 1984, J-Ron was surrounded by musical influences. In a very religious family, J-Ron spend a lot of time in church, where he gave his first performance at the age of 7 . After this performance, he knew that music was his passion.
10 years later, after several performances in “talent-shows” in high school, he decided to take his music seriously. He made several small festivals and shows in the clubs of Montreal.
At 20, he met with JeanR through a friend. He sung a song acapella and the next day he found himself in Ottawa at Incradouble Inc Studio . JeanR composed and wrote “Ce Soir” which got him known in the Quebec urban scene . Off of this “underground” single , he got offered several featuring on albums from artists of the Montreal hip-hop scene
After 2 years of relevant work with and JeanR with the Inc., his dream was facing an obstacle; JeanR was parting ways with Incradouble Inc., therefore J-Ron followed. Continuing to promote himself by making appearances on several projects and on stage, J-Ron is recognized as being the next shooting star in the Quebec RnB industry and maybe even the French Music Industry.
Since then, he release his first RnB Mix-tape entitled “Shhhhtttt… Ecoutes!!!” in early 2012. J-Ron is currently working on his first RnB/Pop album and Konpa/Zouk EP album with the assistance of JeanR thru Funk Projects. His first Official Single “Back To The Future”, which has become an instant hit in the Montreal Haitian community, is set to make him a rising star in the Konpa Zouk Music Industry.
