(PRONOUNCED DEENA EH-DENE) , I was born very active and high spirited girl. I have found peace being completely devoted to my music. Whenever there is inspiration a sound is made and it manifests into my very own creations. My style is original in its own, a twist of R&B/Soul with a raw hip hop flavor, from freestyles on the latest hit songs to creating a melody from scratch there is absolutely no filter. As an independent artist I have invested into my talent and take the necessary leaps to make sure my voice is heard, My fan base continues to grow as I am very active in exposing my talents on social media. I currently have a 5 track EP on iTunes labeled \”Tree Woman\” The influence from Tree Woman came from a simple portrait I came across of a nude woman rooted into the ground and hair expanding like branches such as a tree; it automatically resonated through me as standing your ground and being true to your roots always but still allowing room for growth no matter what phase of life a being is in. Nature is a big part of my serenity I also enjoy roller blading and dancing during my free time.
Dyna Edyne has the range to sing hypnotic melodies over a hip-hop and R&B track (L’ Suavo’s “Deep End”) or to go blow for blow over a freestyle hip-hop beat (“FTN”). Because she refused to be boxed in by R&B’s constraints, her versatility keeps fans anticipating what’s to come next. Her 2017 debut EP, Branches, showcased Edyne’s experimental productions and vocal abilities, which all seem to branch out from a musical foundation that was set down over the decades. Influenced by Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, Edyne seems set on being a part of the black artists who continue to reinterpret and expand the legacy of those who came before them.
