Born in Miragoane in Haiti, he developed a passion for music very early on. At the age of 12, Daan junior left Haiti to continue his studies in Paris. At the same time after lessons, he played the piano and worked a lot on his voice to perfect his passion.
It was in 1995 that he met one of the famous Haitian artists known in the world of music: ALAN CAVE . Become very good friends, it is at this moment that Daan junior makes his first performance on stage alongside Alan Cave in front of a large audience. For an essay that turns out to be conclusive with the applause and enthusiasm of the public, the young Daan Junior immediately thinks of a career in music.
In 1996, he decided with his friends to form a group called ” PANASHE “. Star of the group, Daan Junior sings and composes his songs. It was in 2002 that he began his solo career and released his own album entitled ” DIM SAW VLE “, which sold over 120,000 copies between Europe, the West Indies, the United States and Africa .
In his first album, Daan junior works in collaboration with great artists such as Thierry Delannay; Richie from Zenglen or Alan Cave, Ermane from Djakout …
The album became a success as soon as it was released with the title ” AVEW ” which remained number 1 in sales for 6 months in the West Indies ; in France and Africa. Daan junior knows a real success around the world, his tours in the United States; Haiti; West Indies ; Europe; North America and more than 9 countries in Africa.
His love songs and his captivating voice make him a unique artist. In 2005, Daan junior released his second album J’AI SOIF DE TOI , which was a real success with more than 60,000 albums sold .
Following the success of these 2 albums, Daan Junior begins to share his sweet voice with other artist. He collaborates with Thierry Delannay to make the famous hit ” je t’aime, je t’aime ” with Teeyah (singers from Africa) and the title ” pity ” with the talented Milca .
In 2007, the release of his live album METEM ALEZ and in 2009 SA WAP MAKES NAN PA NAN NORMAL his very last studio album (the hit ” BEFORE KAY OU “). In March 2011: Live album Ban mwen yon ti moment Today Daan Junior at his own recording studio and goes into production.
