Jhon Clark Parent was born May 14 in Petion-Ville, Haiti and moved with his close relatives to New York City after his fifth birthday May 27, 1990. It was at Ditmas Junior High 62 where Jhon Clark had first performed during the graduation ceremony for his class. Jhon Clark has been influenced by his father Jean Clark Parent, who also wrote music whose lyrics reflected richness, the more he listened and like what he heard Jhon Clark fulfilled his own career path.
Jhon Clark is humble in every sense of the word. He does things the modest way, which reflects, in his music. “I’m looking to bring people inspirational music that will sever as a guide, bringing balance and elevation in Konpa”, Jhon Clark says. “I want the spirit of what I’m putting out in my talent to become a movement of its own. That is one of the main purposes of creating My Creole Chapter. I look forward to my style of music bringing success.”
“Tashoo” will be the first single commencing Jhon Clark CD called My Creole Chapter-a retro-style remembrance of his Konpa upbringing. Jhon Clark signed the album deal with Alan Cave and Pierre-Michel Theodat, NYC-based AC Record in mid-2004. Pierre-Michel Theodat alongside Alan Cave has been supporters of Jhon Clark over the years before and behind him to release debut single with music video representing a longtime dream coming fourth for Jhon Clark’s.
