Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Danola discovered her passion for music at the age of 10, beginning her musical journey in her local church. She quickly showcased her versatility by learning to play the guitar, drums, and piano. Her dedication to music was evident as she performed solo, accompanied by her guitar, at various venues in 2017, including Best Western, Oasis, and Latin Quarter.

In 2018, Danola’s talent was recognized when she participated in the New Talents stage at the Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival (PAPJAZZ), a significant platform for emerging artists. Her performance garnered attention, leading to a collaboration with rapper Niska on the track “Pitit Tè a” from the album “Enèji,” where her vocals added depth to the song.

Building on her growing reputation, Danola released her debut single, “Premye Fwa,” in late 2019. The track was well-received, showcasing her ability to blend traditional Haitian sounds with contemporary music. She continued to expand her musical repertoire with songs like “Si Demen,” further establishing her presence in the Haitian music scene.

In February 2023, Danola made her first trip to the United States, marking a significant milestone in her career. Shortly after, she announced a remix of her song “Me Luv The Way” featuring Jamaican dancehall legend Beenie Man. This collaboration, set for release on May 18, 2023, aims to blend dancehall, pop, and Afrobeats, reflecting Danola’s versatility and ambition to reach a broader audience.
