“Samora Julmisse is the maestro of the all female band, Sirolmiel. She is also a former student of the National School of Arts (ENARTS), she is a pianist, keyboardist, composer and music teacher. Winner of the “Plateau Jeunes Talents 2016” program in Haiti, Samora therefore benefited from a music internship grant at the Royal Academy of Wallonia (akdt) in Belgium.
The young musician has already participated in several music festivals in Haiti and In Africa: at the Masa Festival, in Canada: at the Nuits d’Afrique Festival, World Festival of Music for Women from here and elsewhere, Festival des Rythmes d’Afrique in Sherbrooke etc. In Haiti: Women to Love Festival , Destination Aquin, Festival Mizik Senmak, International Festival of Music for Women. “
