The Beehive is Fed Up With Beyoncé’s Shenanigans

The Beehive is Fed Up With Beyoncé’s Shenanigans

Beyoncé has done it again. The Beehive, usually known for its unwavering loyalty, is now buzzing with outrage, disbelief, and a little bit of side-eye. And what’s the reason this time? Oh, just your average $400 concert ticket and a perfume that fans are convinced she doesn’t even wear.

Beyoncé announced her “Cowboy Carter Tour” on February 1, 2025, setting the stage for another historic moment in her career. This came just before her Grammy sweep at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, where she secured Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. She then decided to sprinkle a little capitalism on top of the celebration by announcing her latest fragrance, Cé Lumière, a follow-up to her 2023 scent, Cé Noir.

The tour kicks off on April 28, 2025, in Los Angeles, and fans rushed to prepare their wallets for the ticket sale on February 14, 2025, the same day they were supposed to be buying overpriced chocolates for their significant others.

But when the prices dropped, so did everyone’s jaws.

The Great Ticket Price Debate: Do I Pay Rent or See Beyoncé?

Here’s a breakdown of Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” ticket prices,

  • General Admission: $70 – $400, for those who don’t mind watching her through a telescope
  • Standard Reserved Seating: $150 – $850, if you want to see her in human form, not pixels
  • VIP Packages: $732 – $2,958, for those who like luxury but not enough to sell a kidney
  • Front Row/Exclusive Seating: $1,500+, you might get to feel the air from her hair flips
  • Resale Prices: Astronomical, because scalpers also have bills to pay

Immediately, fans took to social media, and let’s just say the comment section was hotter than a Beyoncé halftime performance.

Social Media Goes Up in Flames

Fans who had just finished budgeting for eggs and rent logged into Beyoncé’s page only to find out they had to choose between seeing their Queen live or paying off their car note.

And the comments? Oh, they were golden.

  • “Girl, do you owe the IRS? Why we gotta pay this much?”
  • “Beyoncé tours always drop when tax refunds hit, she KNOWS what she’s doing.”
  • “You mean to tell me I gotta pay these outrageous prices AND still can’t smell like you because of your perfume allergy?”
  • “Is Jay-Z still a billionaire? Tell him to cover the costs for the Beehive.”
  • “At this point, just start a GoFundMe if you need money, sis.”

The meme lords didn’t miss a beat, either.

Fans quickly pulled out Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing and Tyrese’s legendary What More Do You Want From Me? meme as they tried to mentally prepare themselves to drop a month’s salary on one night of Beyoncé greatness.

Cé Lumière, The Perfume She Probably Can’t Wear

As if ticket prices weren’t already a gut punch, Beyoncé announced Cé Lumière, a gold-bottled fragrance with a price tag that had people rethinking their financial priorities.

Now, the fragrance sounds luxurious, spicy Madagascar black pepper, Italian mandarin, jasmine sambac, rhubarb, and Indonesian patchouli, but here’s the catch,

Beyoncé has been reported to have a perfume allergy.

Yes, you read that right. Fans couldn’t help but side-eye the marketing of a product that Queen B may not even be able to wear. One user commented,

  • “So we’re buying a perfume that Beyoncé probably doesn’t even use? Girl, this is rich.”

Still, the fragrance flew off the virtual shelves, because the Beehive may complain, but they will always support their Queen.

Final Thoughts, Are We Mad? Yes. Are We Still Going? Also Yes.

At the end of the day, Beyoncé could charge people their souls and they’d still find a way to be in that arena. Fans may complain, cry, and threaten to sit this one out, but when April 28, 2025, rolls around, best believe the stadiums will be packed.

Because Beyoncé knows exactly what she’s doing, and no matter how painful the price, we will all still show up in Formation.
