Elon Musk, the so-called genius who has revolutionized space travel, electric cars, and now, apparently, government inefficiency itself. His latest stroke of brilliance? Launching DOGE.gov, a website for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) only for it to get hacked immediately.
That’s right. A department literally dedicated to efficiency couldn’t even keep its own website secure for more than five minutes. Hackers wasted no time exploiting vulnerabilities, leaving unauthorized messages for the world to see. Because, you know, nothing screams “efficient” quite like rolling out a broken government website.
The Musk Touch: Making Tech Look Incompetent Since… Well, Always
How does the man who claims to be a tech visionary allow something this ridiculous to happen? Did he outsource DOGE.gov’s security to the same interns running Twitter’s support desk? Or was this just another one of his brilliant “free speech experiments” to see what happens when you leave the door wide open for hackers?
Honestly, we have to ask the real question here: Was this a mistake, or was it deliberate?
Because let’s be honest, Musk isn’t stupid, he’s playing a game. He knows full well that cybersecurity is a basic necessity for any serious website, let alone one tied to a government department. Yet here we are, watching DOGE.gov turn into a hacker’s playground before it even had a chance to function properly.
And speaking of missing persons… Where’s Trump in all of this?
Where’s Trump? Hiding, Watching, or Laughing?
The great comeback kid, the man who brought Musk closer into the political fold, is suspiciously quiet.
No angry Truth Social posts blaming hackers for being “WOKE.”
No fiery press conferences calling it a rigged cyber attack by the deep state.
Not even a half-hearted defense of Musk’s “very beautiful website” that was hacked “by some very bad people.”
It’s almost like Trump knows exactly what’s going on and is letting Musk take this one on the chin. Or maybe, just maybe, he’s waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in and say, “I alone can fix it”—because, of course, that’s what he does.
DOGE.Gov vs. Dogecoin: A Tale of Two Failures
For those wondering, DOGE.gov has absolutely nothing to do with Dogecoin. But, ironically, Dogecoin itself has had its fair share of embarrassing security breaches.
Back in 2013, a platform called Dogewallet was hacked, and millions of coins were stolen. The community had to start a rescue campaign called “SaveDogemas” to refund users because, shocker, poor security leads to disaster.
And now, ten years later, Musk’s DOGE-branded project suffers a similar fate. Poetic, isn’t it?
So, What Now?
Musk’s track record suggests he’ll do one of three things:
- Blame someone else. Probably the hackers, the “woke mind virus,” or a rogue Tesla AI.
- Call it a feature, not a bug. He’ll spin this into some nonsense about “stress testing” government security.
- Quietly fix it and act like nothing happened. The Tesla method.
Meanwhile, Trump will pretend he never even heard of DOGE.gov until someone tells him there’s an opportunity to make himself the hero.
And the rest of us? We’ll just sit back and enjoy the hilarious incompetence of it all—because if nothing else, this mess is at least entertaining.
Stay tuned, folks. This circus is just getting started.
