Tupac Shakur (2Pac) Murder: Tupac Shakur, a prominent rapper and actor, was fatally shot on September 7, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was shot multiple times while sitting in a car with Suge Knight, the head of Death Row Records, after attending a Mike Tyson boxing match. Shakur succumbed to his injuries six days later, on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25. The murder remains officially unsolved, although various theories suggest it was connected to gang violence, East Coast-West Coast rap rivalries, or retribution for previous altercations. The lack of witnesses willing to cooperate and the involvement of multiple potential suspects have kept the case open for decades, though recent developments have led to renewed investigations.

Christopher Wallace (The Notorious B.I.G.) Murder: Christopher Wallace, known as The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, was killed in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. The shooting occurred after Wallace attended a party hosted by Vibe magazine. He was shot four times while sitting in a car, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after. Like Tupac’s case, Biggie’s murder remains unsolved, though many speculate that it was linked to the East Coast-West Coast rap feud that also involved Tupac Shakur. Allegations of police corruption and possible connections to the LAPD have added layers of complexity to the case, making it one of the most famous unsolved murders in the music industry.
