Singer Miriam Desulme, AKA Hollywood, born on March 3, 1985, in Anse-a-Galets, La Gonave to Mr and Mrs Mirtyl Desulme. His singing ability started when he was 12 years old; he was uncommonly young, enthusiastic to music of all kinds. After his father died in 2004, Hollywood decided to move to the US.As a budding he became enthralled by the unmistakable ambitious bands in South Florida, including Bel Jazz that gave him his breakthrough after Pipo had left the group. That’s where he had his prime obvious singing go with full force. While he showed priceless artistic hope flowering up, Hollywood began to fill out creatively. He did not stay too long, and quickly joined forces with Zenglen when Ritchie decide to create his own group. Management problems forced him to part way and became Klass’ lead singer. After worked up his first music video with Klass, Holy Hollywood decided to take a break from singing with another band to record his first album and
create his own band which name not being released yet. Possessing a handy talent, Hollywood also plays guitar and piano, and elongated to ending a multiplicity of possibly striving hits when his band comes out by the end of the year 2013. He is a serious singer and entertainer, one who will always enjoy a live performance and interact with the audience. “Music has always been my passion, even though I would like to become a pharmacy technician”, he always said. “I guarantee that my album will score big when it’s released”, he said. The album includes a song titled “Degrenngole” which he performed with Alan Cave. Buoyed by the evocative power of his lyrics, Hollywood can become the voice of a generation exasperated by nonsense lyrics prevailing then. Hollywood first album is set to symbolize the social and entertainment dimension that is gaining this young author and composer of Compas Music. He has released a single “Plezi Lakay” that received quite a positive feedback from the public. Through his writings and his search for new ways (contrary to his audience at times when he sing in Bel Jazz, Zenglen or Klass), the singer will significantly mark the contemporary musical culture of this generation or the vast repertoire of songs he composed, which draw musicians from all backgrounds.
