Born on March 20, 1994, Liseberth grew up in Les Cayes, Haiti and is the youngest of a family of two. She was introduced to performing arts at the age of 4 while attending her kindergarten school, Marguerite D’Youville. Liseberth was designated by her preschool teacher, Ms. Shella, to portrait a tutor instructing a classroom. Since then, Lizzie dedicated herself to performing arts.
Liseberth spent a majority of her school years in Haiti staging plays, dance choreographies, and she even sketched multiple scripts during her elementary. At the age of 9, she decided to purchase a diary through which she found a confidant and a passion for writing. Her days, emotions, dreams, short poems were all trapped in her booklet and slowly, she began to mold them into songs. Blessed with the support of her parents and sister, Liseberth always fantasized about becoming a universally acclaimed artist and actress; so relocating to New York in 2009 presented the perfect opportunity. Lizzie spent three years taking on chorus classes in high school then she set her mind on pursuing a Performing Arts major. While attending Laguardia Community College, Lis honed all the skills necessary to establish a professional career in performance, but then she abruptly stopped to switch to a healthcare profession.
Lizzie grew up hoping to break through as a singer. But all that would change when she found herself watching YouTube videos with her sister and a behind the scene of one of Iggy Azalea’s music videos called “Murda Bidnez” popped up. Lizzie got so inspired she rapped an impromptu freestyle which earned many praises from her sister. Ever since she spent most of her free time penning down Hip-Hop records and perfecting her craft.
Now a full-fledged Brooklynite, Liseberth is merging her Haitian roots with that New York charisma that makes the city so proud, in order to create her unique brand that will resonate with her homeland. With a support system consisting of veteran, Steady Tek-Nick (Steves J. Bryan, Beat Gates, Dice, The Diplomats) and his weOutThere Entertainment imprint as well as Bbo (Baky, Martelly) and Bolo Recordz , as well as the mentorship of her cousin, Rutshelle Guillaume (one of the most popular Haitian singers), Lizzie is set to take the airwaves and the streets by storm with the release of her debut single ‘Metel Anlè.” Lizzie is hoping to leave a legacy through her passion and work in the trap/Rap Kreyol movement and bring it to an international audience. Her story will undoubtedly inspire generations to come as an artist who remained true to herself, unfiltered and raw.
