Besides talented, when one thinks of a word or two to describe Patrick Pluviose, humble and reserved immediately comes to mind. In spite of these personality traits, Patrick manages to stand out because of his talent. Patrick began to play the guitar professionally in his first band, Kazak Experience, in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. From Kazak he went to Flanm; and from Flanm to the United States. In 2001 he would become a member of Nu Look, playing the roles of guitarist, arranger, songwriter, and composer. Major hits composed for Nu Look include: “Lanmou Nou Pap Fini,” “Souvenir,” “Illusion,” “Notre Histoire,” and “Legacy.” After 4 years in Nu Look, Patrick left to pursue a career in information technology. He remained musically active, however, by gigging and composing for different bands no matter the genre. Eventually, being a part-time musician was no longer an option. “I missed the stage and I missed the fans,” confessed Patrick. Patrick soon returned to the stage with disip.
