Athlet St Fleur, is one of the lead singer of Gabel. He was born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti on August 16, 1985. He was raised in Port-de-Paix until he moved to Florida and he attended Fort Lauderdale High School. He later joined Gabel in 2009. Flav’s father was a percussionist of a music group based in Port-de-Paix. He always loved singing. In high school, he earned the name “Flavor” from a female classmate who thought his style of singing had a lot of flavor. The name was shortened to Flav by a male friend who refused to call me Flavor because he didn’t think it was masculine for a male to call another male figure Flavor. While Flav loved singing, it was with Gabèl he decided to make a career of it. Flav was still attending college when he got the call from Gabel’s management, however, he didn’t join the band until he graduated. Flav has since starred in a few Haitian movies.
